MICHAEL KEITH DUNN, 45, of Eastland, TX
died on June 24, 2012.
He was born on Jan. 25, 1967 in San Clemente, CA.
Michael attended Ranger High School at Ranger, TX
for a short time in the Class of 1985/1986. He was
a cook and married Edith Lucky (RHS-1984) in Aug.
of 1994 at Ranger.
Survivors include his wife: Edith Dunn of Eastland;
parents: Sherry Briggs and step-dad: Robert Briggs
of Cleburne; son: Michael Travis Dunn of Ranger;
daughters: Shandi Dawn Reynolds of Aledo, Quana
Marie Revis (RHS-2003) of Eastland, and Keema Jean
Harmon (RHS-2003) of Ranger; brother: Eric Briggs
(RHS-2000) of Cleburne; sister: Brandy Briggs (RHS-
1996) of Cleburne; & 7 grandchildren.
MOTHER: SHERRY LYNN ASHCRAFT BRIGGS,
77, passed away Sept. 6, 2025, surrounded by loved
ones at her side.
She was born on Aug. 17, 1948 in Fort Worth, TX to
her parents Johnny Ashcraft & LaQuinta McKenzie.
Sherry and Bob raised their children in Ranger, TX.
They also lived in Cleburne, TX for 20 years, and
she moved back to Eastland, TX. towards the end of
her life.
A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she is
survived by her daughter, Brandy Briggs Montgomery,
brother, Stephen Ashcraft, grandchildren, Michael
Dunn, Shandi Dunn, Keema Harmon, Quana Revis, Alanis
Phinney, Leah Briggs, Summer Briggs, Silas Briggs,
Brian McLellan, and Kingston Montgomery. She also
leaves behind many beloved great-grandchildren and
nieces and nephews, who were the light of her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob)
Briggs of 35 years, and her sons, Michael Dunn and
Eric Briggs.
Sherry had a very blessed life, devoting herself to
her faith, family, and working as a Nurse for many
years. She had a contagious smile, loved the Lord,
and brought light and joy to all she knew.
