in Odessa, TX and grew up in Ranger, TX attending
Ranger High School in the Class of 1984.
Rodonna dedicated her life to caring for others. She
began her career in healthcare at a young age, becoming
a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) and later serving as
Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) at a nursing home.
Her compassion and work ethic defined her professional
life. In her later years, she continued serving her

her unwavering sense of right & wrong. She also had
a free spirit and a sense of humor that those close
to her knew well, enjoying life in her own way and in
her own terms always staying true to herself. She had
a deep love for history, learning, & anything educational.
Music and plants brought her peace, and she found joy
in the simple things life offered. Rodonna loved to
cook and bake for her family and even joked that she
never had enough people to cook for. Her kitchen was
a place of laughter and love. Above all, she treasured
her role as a grandmother and loved her grandchildren
with her whole heart.
In the last years of her life, Rodonna devoted herself
to raising her grandson, Danyuel Davlin, teaching him
everything she knew to help him grow into a strong and
successful young man. This role brought her great purpose
and pride and reflected the depth of her love & commitment
to her family.
