RANDY LEE WELLS, 62, was born on Aug. 22,
1962 in Ranger, TX and passed away on Feb. 3, 2025
in Rising Star, TX. He attended Ranger High School
in the Class of 1980.
Randy was a person of many talents and passions. He
had an incredible ability to repair anything with
wheels and took great pride in his work at his
mechanic, paint & body shop (Willie V's) in Rising
Star. His artistic skills were equally remarkable.
He found joy in creating and expressing himself
through various forms of art. Randy also had a deep
love for the outdoors, spending countless hours
hunting and fishing. Sports were another passion;
He enjoyed football and baseball. He cherished time
spent with friends & family. Known for his generosity,
Randy was always willing to lend a helping hand to
those in need.
Randy is survived by his loving wife, Tracy Wells;
daughters Mandy Caddell (alongside Eric Kutscher-
ousky), Jessica Wells (alongside Aaron Salazar),
Meghan Sweet (alongside Ron), and Tristin Ervin
(alongside Jacob); brother Tony Wells (RHS-1983)
and sister-in-law Mindy Wells; 13 grandchildren.
Mother-in-law Marion Morgan (along side Roy),
brother-in-law David Hughes, sister-in-law Courtney
Gorzalka (alongside Charlie).
He is preceded in death by parents Jimmy Wells (RHS-
1959) in 2013 and Shirley Dean Wells in 2015.
Randy's kindness, talent, and generous spirit
touched many lives. He will be deeply missed by
all who knew him.
MOTHER: SHIRLEY FLEETWOOD DEAN WELLS,
71, died on Jan. 5, 2015 in Abilene, TX, with
interment at Breckenride Cemetery.
Shirley was born on June 19, 1943 in Breckenridge,
TX to Lawson Fleetwood and Ora Hill Fleetwood. She
was a homemaker and a Baptist.
She is survived by sons, Randy Wells and Tony Wells
and wife, Mindy of Paradise; sisters, Annie B.
McPherson, Viola Robertson,Margie Robertson; and
a twin sister, Geraldine Herrington and husband,
Don all of Breckenridge; brother, J.B. Robertson
of Tucson, AZ; 5 grandchildren and several great-
grandchildren.
