Ranger Exes Memorial - RHS Class of 1955

Fred Seay WILLIAM FRED SEAY, 89, joined our Heavenly Father in his new home Jesus prepared for him on Oct. 15, 2025, with burial at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland, TX. Fred was born in Ranger, TX on Jan. 28, 1936 and attended schools there graduating in 1955 from Ranger High School. He began working at age 12 in a grocery store and retired from the oilfield at 62 years old to enjoy time with his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Fred was ordained as a Baptist Deacon in 1969 & held many positions in several Baptist churches joyfully. His dearest friendships were made in those churches. Fred loved to make people laugh, having people laugh at him for making simple mistakes. He enjoyed telling stories with some truth in them that proclaimed a moral ideal and ending with a scripture. These stories will soon be on sale for five cents a copy just as soon as we can find a cheap publisher! Fred said God had blessed him with many good people in his life and he also said "It's been a goodun". Fred is preceded in death by his parents Gladys & Sam Seay; one brother Martin Seay (RHS-1948); and two sisters, Viola Seay Boyer (RHS-1946) & Peal Seay Harper (RHS-1952); a son, Eric Seay, and a grandson Steve Seay.
