DONALD "COONEY" GRAHAM VARNER, 61, was
born on March 28, 1934 at Midland, TX to E.N. "Dago"
& Mineola Varner. He died on July 23, 1995, while
living at Arlington, TX, and was in the Ranger High
School Class of 1952 at Ranger, TX. He was a victim
of lung cancer as was his father. He attended Hodges
Oak Park Elementary School & in high school played
football, receiving the honor of All State Center &
Honorable Mention as Fullback.
He married Joan Lunardon of Strawn in March of 1955.
He served in the U.S. Army & was employed by Cummins
Diesel Corporation as Parts Comptroller.
He is survived by his wife, Joan, and two daughters,
Terry and Tammy, 3 grandchildren, Rachele, David and
Matthew and his brother, James Varner (RHS-1950).
