DEANE CRAWLEY, 57, passed away on Nov. 18, 1977.
He was born on Jan. 28, 1920, graduating from Ranger
High School in 1937. His siblings were Price Crawley
(RHS-1932), Anita Crawley (RHS-1934), & Billie Jeane
Crawley (RHS-1945). He married Alice Henry (RHS-1940),
and they had four children, the oldest, Doug Crawley
(RHS-1966), who followed in his grandfather s
footsteps, is the current Ranger Postmaster. Other
children are Carole Lynn Crawley Sattler, Christia
Ann Crawley Wimberley and Kelly Deane Crawley. Alice
Henry Crawley later married Bobby H. Powell (RHS-
1932), who has since passed away, and she lives in
Andrews, TX.
